Hello, I have some exciting news!
1.) Every year at my school there is a competition for designing the Portland Rose Festival's Wine Label by Oak Knoll Wines. And the past couple years I've always been runner up. but this year my design was chosen as the winner! I can't say what it is because there will be a press release and unveiling on April 19. Along with the honor, I'm receiving some money, over looking and learning about the printing, multiple PR / artist signings, and invitations to special events. This is so exciting!
2.) Something else art related, I'll be the artist during the reception at LUNAFEST (Women's Film Festival) demonstrating my drawing skills with a live (fully clothed) model. I will be getting paid for this event as well. Just working on networking right now.
3.) Something NOT art related, but very important to me ... I'm going to be a mother! I will continue with my art as a mother and am anticipating sharing the fun with my little one. My hubby is also very excited on starting our family.
