Here is another watercolor painting featuring one of my wrangler friends from Philmont.

Last summer was her last summer working in the New Mexico wilderness with horses and this sorrel, Twitch, is one of her favorites.

Summers are precious. 

Summers are magical. 

Especially when you have the opportunity to work with horses as your summer job!

"Where Memories Are Made - The Inn at Diamond Woods"

Tonight I had mat board cut to size for my giant commissioned watercolor painting, a whopping 26" x 34"! Tomorrow I will be cleaning the glass of a 30" x 40" frame that was an awesome find at Goodwill and put everything together. It will be ready for delivery and to hang in its new home at The Inn at Diamond Woods on Saturday. 

So here is the beast … er … beauty.

The opening reception is Friday, February 1 from 5 pm - 9 pm at Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce. Come and check out my series "Kiger Mustangs: Wild Hearts of the West" and if you can't make the opening reception, the show will be up Feb. 1 - 22, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
