I got my Moo(.com) greeting cards today

YAY!
They came …
I ordered some greeting cards of my art from Moo.com and I'm so excited!
I ordered my (mini) business cards from them and they are awesome, unique, and memorable.
I just love how they package things …. it makes me happy :-)

I'll be selling these guys at the Sandy Oktoberfest this weekend because I have a table there for the art show part.

Yippee!

working on a new painting and a name for it ...

So, this another painting I plan on donating to Butte Creek's auction fundraiser. All of these horses live there. These are just in process photos. The finished painting will be amazing.

You may notice that the paper is curling, that's because I buy my paper as a 10 yard long roll of paper. That way I have almost no limitations for the sizes of my paintings!

Now, all I have to do is figure out a name ...

"Dufur Hay Fields"

For a couple summers I worked as a horse wrangler at a Boy Scout summer camp near Dufur, OR. When ever I headed to camp from The Dalles, we drove through Dufur and the farm land.
So, here is the view … isn't it beautiful with Mt. Hood?

"Cox Butte Buffalo"

I grew up in the country by Junction City, Oregon. The last couple years that I lived with my parents, there was a small herd of buffalo owned by a rancher. It was always a game to look for the buffalo as we drove past the land where they lived. We kept a running tally of how many there were because they  were raised as meat, just like the many cattle that the same rancher raised.

So, here is a little watercolor painting of some of those buffalo.
