Exciting News!

I sent in my resume for a job calling for an "Office Assistant" on Thursday night, I was called Friday morning, had an interview on Monday at the temp agency, had an interview yesterday (Tuesday) at the company, and now I'm starting on Monday at my new job! I will be using my InDesign and Photoshop skills to reformat templates describing information needed to manufacture gloves. I'm told that this is a 3 month contract, but who knows .... it could be longer.

This month my goal is to create new paintings because on July 1 I will be having an artist reception at the bistro I won my latest wine label competition. I'm also working on creating a newsletter that people can sign up for. I hope to have a link or button soon for people to sign up for updates on latest paintings, news of events and recognitions, and other things. I hope all is well. It's a muggy Friday here in Portland.
