I'm taking another bronze class from Rip Caswell and I was going to make a horse portrait (bust), but I was commissioned to do an eagle …. so my second bronze is an eagle!
Here are some in process photos from start and above are pictures of it just about finished. The first feathers I did weren't working out, so I scraped them off and with the help of Rip Caswell, I started better feathers. I've spent about 12 hours on this and Monday the transition from clay to bronze will begin.
